Intro to Dradis Echo

Echo is a context engine that understands Dradis finding fields, project data, and your team’s standards. It connects to your choice of AI provider — run Ollama locally for a fully private setup with no data leaving your network, or connect to a cloud provider such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini. Echo understands where you are in your workflow, what you’re working on, and delivers the right suggestion at the right moment.

Echo comes pre-installed in Dradis as of v5.0.

Configure

Set up your AI provider and assign it to an Echo agent in Admin › Configuration › Echo. See the Echo Providers guide for setup instructions for each supported provider type.

Usage

Navigate to an Issue and click the Echo tab. From there you’ll be able to Summarize or Reword your Issue content, or generate a cheeky Haiku.

You can also save reusable prompts and reference Liquid project data within them. See Dradis Echo Prompts for details.
