Send a project Issue to the ServiceNow plugin

Have you already done the heavy lifting in your project? You've identified the Issues and probably generated a custom report as well. Now you can forward your Issues to ServiceNow:

  1. In your Project, open up on an Issue that you want to send to ServiceNow.

  2. In the top right corner of the screen, click the dots menu, then Send to... and select ServiceNow Vulnerable Item from the dropdown.

Send the Issue to ServiceNow as a Vulnerable Item

  1. Use the dropdowns to assign the Issue to a State, Vulnerability, and Configuration Item.

  2. The Work notes field will already be filled out with the Issue Title. Edit it to add additional details if you'd like.

  3. Once you have made your desired updates, click on the Create ServiceNow Vulnerable Item button.

That's it! You've sent an Issue from your Dradis Project to ServiceNow. Now you can get to work on remediating it.

From now on, ServiceNow will also sync with this issue. A ServiceNow Vulnerable Item tab will be created on the Issue you sent to ServiceNow, and the tab will stay up-to-date with its associated ServiceNow Vulnerable Item.

Great job, you reached the end of the guide! Have you read all of them?
